Jamie whom I now view as a strong woman and a role model to other teenagers simplifies what feelings and attitudes that I think should be directed to others. ... Jamie however loved her father regardless of the way he treated her. ... Jamie simplified beauty with little to no effort at all. ... Jamie kept a journal of uplifting poems and quotes that her mother left her which she would read whenever she was down. ... Jamie was able to look past chemo, medicine, being in bed all the time to view positive things such as she how she enriched her fathers life and his ministry. Jamie was able to live a happy normal life until she was stuck with her illness; she even found love and for that she was so grateful. ... When I read about Jamie and her problems and how she faced each of them I think it helped me to realize that no matter how important other things may seem or what a person says does not give you the reason to quit living. ... I think that Jamie was one in a million truly and I hope that in the future more people like her will be living on this earth making it a better place for all.
