Organizational Culture
An organizations culture is usually based on values and beliefs. The culture of an organization operates at both a conscious and unconscious level. Often the people who see your culture more clearly are those from the outside--the new hires, the consultants or vendors. Understanding and assessing your organizations culture can mean the difference between success and failure in todays fast changing business environment. To define ones culture in their organization you could observe what your organization places their importance on, who gets promoted, what type of behaviors get rewarded and who seems to fit in and who doesn’t.
