To some people, The Gettysburg Address is nothing but a really long speech. ... In the very last paragraph of the Gettysburg Address, he says that they should be devoted to the task before us and that these people that we have honored here today may help increase the devotion to the task remaining. ... Meaning that the people that have died at Gettysburg have help make sure that our country will be for going strong and free for many years to come. My feelings on this address are that it was a short address, but really touched the heart of millions of people.
