raising the drinking age
In this essay I hope to prove that the drinking age should be raised. I will show this firstly, through the problems that have been caused since the drinking age was lowered, such as younger people are now able to buy alcohol, Secondly higher accident toll, and thirdly the extra workload police are dealing with as a result of intoxication. ... If the drink age was raised, these teenagers who look older than their age may not be so easily able to obtain alcohol Secondly, since the drinking age was lowered, there has been a considerable rise in the accident toll on New Zealand roads, as a result of younger people having easier acces to alcohol and then drink driving.
