Unrealistic Beauty
Beauty and self-image are both very abstract concepts. ... The notion of beauty and self image differ for males and females, of all ages and all races. ... It is unknown what the picture perfect idea of beauty is, but yet everywhere you look people are striving to find it. I highly doubt that the majority of our society still believes that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’, or better yet, ‘real beauty is found on the inside’. ... I don’t understand why anybody, women especially, will go to any extreme just to fit the mold of what their twisted reality says beauty is. When you look at the big picture, sooner rather than later, we are going to lose our individual appearance if we all strive to find that perfect concept of what beauty is not.
