Changing Where the Wild Things Are
The story, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, is about a boy named Max. ... From his room, he goes to an imaginary place where creatures called wild things live. There the wild things make Max the “King of all Wild Things” and he rules over them doing and treating the wild things as he pleases. Max eventually realizes that he misses home and his mother and decides to leave the wild things to go back. ... I like how the author puts Max in the imaginary place of the wild things to realize his dream of independance.
