A Holiday Meeting
“How did you meet your wife,” is a question I often hear. It all started in the winter of 1991 when I decided to spend the holidays with my best friend Aaron, who lived in Chicago. I had been their a few times for Thanksgiving and decided this time I would go for Christmas. I thought it would be fun to spend the holiday in the snow, considering I was from LA. This is where it began. I arrived on the 26th of December after my red eye flight out of LAX; this put me in Chicago around six in the morning. Soon after, I found out my friend’s older brother also invited a friend who would be flying in from Kentucky on the 28th.
