Should Advertisers be blamed

... When the Advertisers started targeting the poor youth of the inner cities, that’s when the want became a need. ... That’s how Advertisers made millions, even billions off of us, poor people. ... The concept of the advertisers, to me, just didn’t make sense. Why would advertisers want to target people that couldn’t afford their product? ... Another thing that struck me I couldn’t understand is, why advertisers feel “cool hunting,” meant “black hunting”. ... At first I couldn’t understand why advertisers would want to targeted people who couldn’t afford their product but by the choice of words Phil Spur of Pepe jeans choose to use, I now see it’s another way of getting rid of the African American community. ... Of course the advertisers couldn’t have known people would start killing over name brand things, but what else could desperate people do?
