Honduras is a part of Spain’s vast empire in the “New World.” Honduras became an independent nation in 1821. It was discovered by Christopher Columbus. This was ruled by the military for over two decades. Just recently, in 1982, Honduras turned into a freely elected civilian government. Honduras is a part of Central America that has a rapid manufacturing growth including the production of bananas, beans, sugar cane, and many other goods that are in high demand all around the world.
