Salvation
Salvation means that, “There shall be life after death.” Salvation is an escape from sin. Those who seek Salvation shall be helped in the time of need and safe from any danger. In the narrative story, “Salvation,” Langston Hughes believed that being saved would embrace him, leading him in a whole new direction, but indeed it left him feeling confused, condemned, and saddened. ... At the age of thirteen he was confident that Jesus would appear, so he sat patiently waiting for the very moment to see and experience the joy of Salvation. ... How could he face his aunt, let alone the church knowing that he faked his Salvation?
