Money is not the most important thing in life
Thanks for the opportunity to engage in the discussion about the critical and thorny issue of money in our lives. ... My dad used to say "Money isnt the most important thing in life, but it sure beats the hell out of second place." While I dont subscribe to this philosophy, it does raise a very important point and that is that money is unavoidably very important to our lives. Whether we have money or not does determine, to a great extent, many of the qualities of our lifestyles (access to good health care, housing, etc. ... This, in part, seems to mean that we must invest and save as much money as possible so that we might be able to afford health care, long-term care, housing, etc.
