All people especially children are suffering the consequences of the irresponsibility, ignorance or greed of consumers that feel the need to keep up with consumerism (to feel a sense of self –worth or equality). ... While this information may seem appalling, or if the environment isn’t someone’s main concern, a solution to over consumption (or irresponsible consumerism) needs a solution not only to protect the place we live but the people we live with. The first and most obvious solution proposed would be to increase income in order to keep up with the new consumerism.
