Cheating: Right or Wrong? What is Cheating? Cheating is copying someone else’s work. Cheating also includes using someone else’s words and not giving credit to that person. Cheating plays an important part in our society today. Our society has put so much pressure on our students today, that these students are willing to do anything possible, including cheating and plagiarizing, to get the "A", so that they can get into that prestigious university. Cheating and plagiarizing, however, is morally and ethically wrong and unfair. Cheating is dishonest and corrupt. It is wrong and unfair to honest students.
