Observation of the sports society shows that sports drinks are everywhere. Every major sports league, for example the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, and NASCAR, is sponsored by a sports drink, and almost every other sports team is endorsed or uses some form of a sports drink. Sports drinks are highly advertised all over the media, sometimes by respected athletes, to increase and improve sporting performance.
