Most people believe that if they are victimized they need to have the same if not more rights than the actual person committing the crime against them. Others believe that victims should have the right to know what is going on in their case. ... Victims do not have the same rights as the criminals, they cannot plead their case to the court, they cannot receive any help financially, they do not get the chance to know when the person gets out of jail. The amendment would give them a lot more rights then the average person would think. ... But every good plan has its opposes, some people believe that the victim should have rights but there shouldn’t be a new amendment to give them these rights.
