In the past three weeks we have read about the period before the emergence of populism in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. I think that Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina share more similarities that differences before the emergence of populism. ... The greatest similarity that I found was in each of these countries during period before the emergence of populism is the power that the elites held. ... The need for reform was brewing in this countries, I now wonder what will become of the elites when populism does emerge.
