Credibility of mass media
Mass media are often criticized for their incredibility and the way they present risks. ... As sensing there is an urgent need to look at the problem, I am writing to express my opinions towards the credibility of mass media. Mass media are information channels distributing information from social actors, which are government, agencies and stakeholders to the public. Journalists may select, edit and comment on this information, however most of the information published in the media comes from powerful social actors. Mass media therefore is a means for political, economic, cultural and other elites to inform, educate and influence the public.
