French and British Attitudes Towards Native Americans
The Native Americans way of life was dramatically altered because of both French and British colonization. The Native Americans lived by simple principals in which sharing was necessary in times of need and that the well being of all should always be taken into account. ... The French respected these beliefs and were willing to live peacefully along side the Native Americans, but the British wanted to gain land and had no intentions of getting along with the Native Americans or respecting their beliefs.
