For most drivers, the most feared and dreaded event, aside from receiving a fine that can potentially raise the insurance rates sky high, is changing lanes. Very often in our driving experience we require changing lanes, either because the vehicle ahead refuses to dare exceed the posted minimum speed or simply because a turn or exit is closely approaching. At first you patiently look at your rear view mirror waiting for that special moment: when there is a considerable amount of space between your car and the forthcoming vehicle behind you that is driving in the lane that you wish to very much enter, permitting you to comfortably change lanes by just slightly increasing the push on the accelerator.
