Overview I have worked for a paper recycling company called Carolina Fibre Corporation for the last 13 years. We operate two recycling facilities in North Carolina: Triad Paper Recycling in High Point and Federal Waste Paper in Burlington. Carolina Fibre Corporation is the main brokerage sales office, which is responsible for marketing / selling over 5000 tons of recovered paper each month. Recovered paper is a major raw material in paper manufacturing. The alliances we have formed over the years have enabled us to become a significant supplier of recovered paper to some of the most well known paper mills in the industry. We ship material to the following domestic paper mills; Kimberly Clark, Smurfit-Stone, Georgia Pacific, Sonoco Products, and Caraustar Industries. ... Domestic mill consumption fluctuates monthly; our international mill relationships help balance the supply and demand for recovered paper. We ship to the following international paper mills; Kruger, Scott, Cascades, and American Chung Nam. ... Many of the recycling facilities are owned by large paper mills that we ship to everyday. When the recovered paper market is strong and operating at full capacity they need our paper to operate their paper mills. ... This is a great opportunity for us to acquire a larger market share of the recycling industry by taking advantage of this niche that other companies have avoided.
