In the book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, there are many reasons why Crooks the stable buck confided in Lennie. At first, Crooks was unhappy about Lennie’s curiosity of himself. Crooks figured out that Lennie was a very innocent person and that he would not make fun of, or say crude or racial things about him.
