So, even if a person diets, they are still eating pounds of sugar, usually hidden, and they are so addicted they dont even realize it.(3,6,8,9,10,11,12) Without becoming too scientific (as then I would have to write a book) our bodies get our energy from sugar, glucose, known as blood sugar. ... There is a process to breaking down food for energy, the sugar chain. The further up the sugar chain the food is, the longer your body takes to process it into glucose.
