Catholic Church should move into the 21st Century and alter the rules concerning Priests Do you
I agree with the statement, as I believe that the rules concerning priests are very old fashioned and that it is time for them to change to suit the community of today, the amount of people who are going into priesthood is in decline and I believe that the rules of the church could have a big effect on this. One of the rules is that women can not become priests, I believe that this is wrong as women can do everything men can do and are equal to men and surely seen as women can be called to vocation they should be able to become priests. ... Also the great news of the resurrection was given to a woman to spread the word, this could be symbolic for women to start preaching more and as priests. The shortage of priests also shows that the church is desperate for priests and I believe that allowing women to become priests would help solve the shortage.
