Racism
#1) In order to prevent types of racism, we need to use our words as a way to include everyone-uses the example of many complaints at the Writer’s Union in Kingston. “Rather then avoid writing outside our cultural experience, our hope of defying the curse of racism lies in doing just the opposite. ... ” #2) Telling those outside of a culture that they can not write about this specific culture, keeps us from developing new insights, and continues racism.
