Fun Games and a Walpurgisnacht Exorcism
Fun, Games and a Walpurgisnacht Exorcism. ... The three acts, Fun and Games, Walpurgisnacht and the Exorcism do begin to make sense after some thinking, and in fact are quite clever and fitting titles for this play. Fun and Games simply alludes to Martha and George introducing their form of “fun and games,” Walpurgisnacht suggests a deeper sense of their trickery and the Exorcism describes an ending to their games. In the first act, Fun and Games, the reader is introduced to Martha and George, the play’s main characters. Martha and George have a very “unique” relationship, to say the least, and they like to have fun. They invited a few acquaintances over to their house for drinks, and when their guests arrive, Nick and Honey, the fun really begins.
