The Business Industry Political Action Committee is a group of industrial leaders that, “Identifies and supports pro-business candidates who have demonstrated the skill and leadership necessary to fuel a pro-business Congress.” Beginning as the nations first business political action committee, or PAC, the BIPAC was conceived on August 5th, 1963 to promote the election of officials that would encourage the growth of the economic sector. Since then, the BIPAC has grown by leaps and bounds, not only supporting the smaller nominations, but those that would go on to compete for very important positions as well. In each arriving decade the BIPAC would support the candidates they felt were most likely to seek out the largest margin of surplus possible, often by methods that were, “Ahead of the curve”.
