After the attacks of September 11, 2001 national airport security has beefed up. ... The security in airports has gotten out of control. ... So many that it takes an extra hour just to go through security. And not just Boston airports are going through this all airports now has rules to follow. The Federal Aviation Administration promises to crack down on all United States security in airports. ... They are doing this by utilizing more plainclothes security guards, going through all the airports with dogs trained to sniff out bombs, and no longer having curb side check in. Increasing random ID checks will also make security tighter. ... At first after the attacks had happened Americans were all for more security, because we did not want it to happen again.
