Network Buildings
The Networked Building Say that you walk into a building and the lights turn on according to where you are, or you are sitting in an area of the building and the heat/air-conditioning is personally adjusted from you desk. This can all be done from networking aspects of your building into the IT network. There are many names for this type of building, such as smart building, integrated building, intelligent building, and so on. The bottom line is that this is a building where the building automation systems and the IT systems have been fused together into one entity(Lee).
