|

|
Second paper A Streetcar Named Desire Fantasy is one of human’s instinctive weaknesses. People usually choose to dwell in the fantasy world that they created when reality is not conducive to their emotional well-being. In the play “A Streetcar Named Desire”, author Tennessee Williams wholly described the fantasy of a woman, Blanche Dubois. Blanche is a mid-aged woman who chooses fantasy rather than to accept reality. She was fired from the high school in Laurel where she was teaching because of the affair she had with a 17-year-old boy.
