“The Bride Stripped Bare” (Aug 2003) I have always enjoyed television programs where an expert interviewer such as Michael Parkinson, talks to real people – some famous and some not so famous. ... A few weeks ago the guest was Nicky Gemmell an author of several books who was talking about her latest book “The Bride Stripped Bare” which was causing quite a sensation. ... She writes that ‘The Bride Stripped Bare’ is a deeply private book …. ... Whilst nowhere near as explicit as the “The Bride Stripped Bare” there was still more than its share of adultery in this book too not by one but by most of the characters!
