La Hacienda
La Hacienda When I used to live in Mexico, my family and I visited my grandparents every other week. However, it was not just a one-day visit; it was a tradition. So, my uncles, my aunts and my cousins were also part of this unforgettable time of being with each other’s loved ones. We used to leave early in the morning in order to get there by noon, when the lunch was served. It was called “la hacienda" in a little town called Taxco in the state of Zacatecas, the place we all couldn’t wait to arrive to. My grandparents’ ranch was five or six hours away from the city of Mexico, where I used to live.
