Born Again All over the world believers of religion have their beliefs in what it takes to go to the afterlife. My upbringing in the Missionary Baptist Church has taught me to receive eternal life where one must be ‘born again’. To be ‘born again’ is to give up worldly things and accept Jesus as ones Lord and Savior. To a person that doesn’t understand the principles and beliefs of the Baptist ways, wanting to be ‘born again’ may seem strange. To be ‘born again’ one must have faith in God, because the natural mind cannot comprehend the born again experience, it is simply a symbolic way for one wanting to get closer with Jesus Christ, according to Assistant Minister Michael M.
