Thwelfth Night Gender
Gender Issues All throughout the play, Twelfth Night we see gender issues. ... This is peculiar that we see at the end of the play how oblivious the characters are to the gender issues raised throughout the story. The gender issue between the characters is more prominent here than anywhere else because the reader has a better understanding as well as conclusion for the play. The play is called the Twelfth Night, or What You Will. In the final act of the play when all the gender identities are revealed, I feel Shakespeare is giving us, the reader a chance to put together in our own mind what the real conclusion is. One of the most prominent gender issues that adds to the ending is Viola and Sebastian seeing each other face to face.
