Medical specialists or hospital staff members provide secondary health care services to patient whose primary care was provided by the general practitioner who first diagnosed or treated the patient. Tertiary healthcare offer services that are provided by specialized hospitals equipped with diagnostic and treatment facilities or by doctors who are uniquely qualified to treat unusual disorders that do not respond to therapy that is available at secondary care centers Prevention medicine is a branch of medicine whose main aim is the prevention of disease. This report will describe the UAE’s healthcare system and the primary healthcare delivery, and assess its progress in the face of the country’s needs. The health care services in UAE are mainly provided by the Public Sector and secondarily the Private Sector. In the Public Sector, there are five independent health systems; the Federal Ministry of Health in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Department of Health and Medical Services, and three occupation-specific system (the Police, Army and Petroleum)2. ...
