The Magnificent African Cake “The Magnificent African Cake” was essentially about Africans trying to keep control over their continent. The European colonists tried controlling Africans. In the present day, Africa is still undeveloped, facing several issues such as bad government, poor health, and bad economic status, because they were never given a proper chance to run their own affairs. When the Europeans took over Africa, they told the Africans what to do instead of showing them how to run a developing country. Living in the United States and being blessed, I have never understood how unfortunate people in other countries have been and still are to this day. The video reflected on Africans and the hardships they dealt with in the past and present.
