Disastrous Hiking Trip
Disastrous Hiking Trip Our fourth of July hiking trip turned into a disaster for me. My husband loves to hike and he had asked me if I would like to go along. I agreed to go because we did need to spend some quality time with each other. The afternoon was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky. The trip was an all uphill climb which was a surprise to me. We walked along and took in the breathtaking beauty of the wilderness. We saw lots of wild life and beautiful flowers with the most gorgeous colors. A feeling of tranquility came over me however; we encountered a few obstacles along the way in addition to the beauty such as trying to jump over rippling streams with loose rocks that teeter tottered when you stepped upon them.
