response to To Biuld A Fire
MEANING With the title of the story “To Build A fire”, there are many connotation that can be taken from those simple four words. The first and most obvious one that came to us prior to reading the story, was along the lines of ‘how to build a fire’. In reading the story though we realized that the title is actually bluntly about a guy, who try to build a fire. ... All he was able to see was that he would make his fire and everything would be okay, it wasn’t until the end of the story that he finally came to realize that he might not be able to make a fire, and his failure would mean his death. ... AUDIENCE The story, To Build a Fire, is more likely intended for audiences that like to hear books that sound entertained and even wonder what they may think the title may mean to them. ... ALT AUDIENCE The story of To Build a Fire is aimed at a very broad audience, spanning many genera of people, and who bring many different background of experience to their interpretation of the stories central ideas.
