Ultima
In Rudolfo Anaya’s novel, Bless Me, Ultima, there is a character by the name of Antonio Marez. Antonio is six when Ultima, which is a friend of Antonio’s mother, comes and lives with his family, then Antonio starts having dreams. ... He recognized everything he saw around him and saw that Ultima was helping his mom giving birth to him, washing him and cutting the cord then all is family saw him when Antonio mom gave birth to him. ... But Antonio’s dreams, “He pointed to the hills where Tenorio captured the night-spirit of Ultima and murdered it, and Ultima died in agony. ... 244) Antonio had a dream in how Ultima would die by Tenorio killing her. This then come true but the night-spirit was Ultima’s owl and Tenorio killed it, then Ultima die because she says something like the owl was her spirit and since it left she has to go with it.
