At the turn of the century, Australia was considered to lead the world when it came to worker’s rights and conditions. The reason why Australia was considered a working man’s paradise was workers received workers benefits such as maternity pay and the pension, the basic wage was introduced to give workers a fair and reasonable wage. ...
