perils of obedience

PAQUITO A. PALAY Psych 124 Perils of Obedience By: Stanley Milgram In Stanley Milgram’s article, “The Perils of Disobedience,” he stated that authority and disobedience are fundamental in the structure of social life. Some argue that disobedience to authority can create social disorder while some contended the importance of having a conscience. Submission to an authority becomes a problem when orders are in conflict with one’s conscience.
