Freedom of Speech and Censorship

The First Amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. ... Constitution says that everyone who is an American citizen has the right of free speech. But you can find censorship almost anywhere around you. ... I don’t believe that it is fair that there is so much censorship in a country that does nothing but promise freedom to all its occupants. People who agree with censorship would say that control of all of these things helps to prevent the crimes that occur. ... Censorship of music, the Internet, literature and films is unconstitutional because we all have the right to free speech. Music is one of the many places where you can find censorship. ... Another place you can find censorship is in the movies and on television. ... Maybe everyone who agrees with censorship should start thinking of the other things that cause violence. ... Book censorship has tried to hold back thoughts, rather than refute them with better ideas.
