As a child grows up and matures the parents and the way they brought up that child have a lot to do with on how they become young adults. Their love, rules, guidelines impact the child greatly. If they mature with out any of that it is a possibility they might grow up very different from others since they’ve never experienced it they might not know how to give it . Marry Shelley’s ideas about how children are shaped into adults are portrayed in the story through the monster and Victor Frankenstein. Victor and the monster both grew from immaturity to maturity but differently. The monster didn’t have any love, rules or guidelines as for Victor did. Which explains some of their action through out the story. The monster from the start was never shown love at all. People ran away at the mere sight of him, even his own creator.
