Themes in Frankenstien and Crime and punishment
Alienation Another theme discussed in the novel Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, is alienation. Victor is one character who is alienated from others. This is due to his desire for knowledge, and the vast amount of time in which he spends in completing his scientific experiments. Victor chooses to be alienated, despite the fact that he insists many times that the only reason he is isolated from others is because of the monster. Themes Frank – Crime - Strangely enough, Crime and Punishment is a love story, or rather several love stories.
