Energy efficient vehicles will play a vital role in the future of American society because they are beneficial to both the environment and consumers. The state of the worldwide environment has been a concern to many groups and organizations for decades. However, while most Americans recognized that the environment is being abused, they refuse to do their part in protecting it by making simple changes in their everyday lives, like recycling, or using non-aerosol products. The reason the majority of Americans don’t do more to preserve the environment is that doing so would require more effort than doing nothing at all. ... Energy efficient vehicles are different from any other form of environmentally friendly products. ... The horrendous state of the environment is an issue that can no longer be ignored. ... Clearly, the environment is an urgent and important problem that needs to be dealt with in order to provide security for the future. Energy Efficient cars and other conservation efforts provide the best protection of the environment.
