TEAM PLAYER I think that everyone has been told to be a team player, yet there is no clear definition of what a team player is. A team player can be associated to any type of profession a person participates in while working with a group of people trying to accomplish the same goal. In the Webster’s Dictionary, there is nothing about the phrase “team player” but, the closest to team player is the definition of teamwork, which is defined as “Unity of action, as by the players on a team”. By using this definition it could be said that team players are a number of people associated in work or activity. Team players are in many areas such as military, sports, work, and family. Team players would need to be sociable to get along with other members of the team or group.
