Faith – English Presentation Historically, faith is defined as the complete acceptance of a set of guidelines and of the absolute authority of God in what he reveals or promises to reveal. Faith: a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; "he lost his faith but not his morality" Faith, an attitude of the entire self, including both will and intellect, directed towards a person, Faith indeed includes belief but goes far beyond it. It is also known that the sinful human being couldn’t achieve a good life through good works, but only through faith in the free grace of God. Example of Faith: Faith is trust. You are sitting in a chair, and have faith that it won't drop you to the floor.
