Recommendation The purpose of this recommendation is to provide suggestions for the remaining value of unused meal plans that freshman students are required to purchase. Thus, the university should provide three options for the value of unused meal plans being (a) allow students to apply the unused value to tuition, university housing, required fees, or other university charges; (b) rollover the remaining value of unused meal plans to the upcoming semester; or (c) refund the value of the unused meal plans.
