Good Boss
In the working society of today there are many opinions of what characteristics a good boss should have. Many times employees expect a boss to be angelic in attributes. Although my experience with bosses is very little, I have found that a good boss is flexible, a good leader, trustworthy and congenial, realistic and gives constructive criticism, and has overall good character. First, Flexibility in a boss is always an important trait. ... If she were to go ask her boss for the day off, he or she should be willing to try and rework her schedule. ... A good boss should recognize all this and be flexible enough to help his employees out with their schedules. Moreover, a boss should be a good leader. ... A trustworthy boss is a relief to employees. ... Moreover, a friendly outgoing boss creates a good atmosphere in the work place. Employees are less likely to dread coming to work if they know their boss isn’t going to yell at them, for no reason, the minute they walk in the door. Customers also like to know that where they shop is a friendly place, run by good people. Trustworthiness is essential to good business.
