Outrageous Gasoline Prices
Gasoline is a major part of a high percentage Americans’ daily life. ... Everyone has witnessed the skyrocketing of gasoline prices over the past few years. Prices will continue to rise until the consumer understands the overall problem, the monopoly in the oil industry, and the apathy of the consumers. Gasoline prices are currently too high for the common good. The high prices are hurting the common consumer. Lower prices would help the economy because the consumers would have more money to help them to pay other expenses, including taxes. If the prices continue to rise, the lower class Americans may very well be deprived of transportation, creating problems at work, home, and overall severely complicating their way of life.
