Diversity on Campus
Diversity can be defined as ‘variety,’ ‘dissimilarity,’ ‘multiformity’ and difference. ... ) and prejudices are based on diversity. ... After casual observations of the Oklahoma Christian campus, I’ve noticed that diversity, especially racial diversity is evident. ... Our campus went through several seminars about cultural and racial diversity and after that, nobody honestly noticed racial differences. ... ’ I think it’s crazy how there’s hardly any Hispanics or Asians on campus, let alone any other racial minority group. On campus, I’ve also noticed discrimination concerning religious denomination. ... I do think, however, that students and faculty should be more aware and accommodating of the religious diversity on campus. ... I think it’s good to be aware that there is diversity on campus and would benefit the Oklahoma Christian community.
